LIFE IN THE PACIFIC OF THE SEVENTEENTH CENTURY
Director Stephen Little provided a
narrated walk-through of this extraordinary
exhibition. We enjoyed a very special look at the many and varied
pre-contact objects and works of art collected by Captain James Cook on his voyages
through the Pacific. These objects had never before been on public view and are in
pristine condition.
The tour was followed by a cocktail reception.
