Wednesday, November 1.  Fourteen Guild members attended the Nov 1 "insider" tour of the Robert Allerton Research Library and no-host lunch at the Cafe.  Everyone was impressed with the library collection and the one hour tour itself. It included not only the beautiful reading room, but  the stacks, including the basement stacks where "no one gets to go".

Head Librarian Ron Chapman shared many interesting stories about the acquisition of many of the holdings. A special bonus of this tour is that participants will now feel very comfortable using the library for their own research, as well as a pleasant place to spend time between between appointments at the Academy.
