NOTE: 2009 will be the year that the GUILD GOES GREEN. Invitations to most Guild events and the Guild Newsletter will be provided via email to those members who provide an email address. This will save on paper and postage. We will continue to mail to those who still prefer 'snail mail'.

The Academy Guild is a volunteer organization,
founded in 1985. The purpose is to organize and
promote events to raise funds and increase public
awareness of the Honolulu Academy of Arts.

Members work throughout the year on annual
events such as Showcase and Kama’aina Christmas
and on special tours and programs. Committees
with specific areas of responsibility are formed to
plan each event.

Guild members bring a variety of talent and
experience to the Academy: event planning,
management expertise, writing, editorial,
accounting and cashiering skills, computer
proficiency, sales and public relations, design and
decoration, web development and many more.
